Hey momma, this page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects, why, and what your choices are. Mom Unplug ("we," "our") is operated by Tamika MaCheyle. This policy covers momunplug.com, including our shop and the Perseverance plan builder.

What we collect, and when

Your name and email address: only when you type them into one of our signup forms (like the 7-Day Prayer Challenge or shop launch list) and press submit. These go to Mailchimp, our email service, so we can send you what you asked for.
Order information: when you buy something, checkout is handled by Shopify. Shopify collects your name, shipping address, email, and payment details to process your order. Your payment card details never touch this website; they go directly to Shopify's secure checkout.
Automatic technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and pages visited) for security and site operation.

      The Perseverance plan builder is private by design. Everything you type into it (your dreams, your blocks, your why) stays in your own browser. Those answers are never sent to us or to anyone else.

These trusted companies help run this site, and each handles data under its own privacy policy:

Mailchimp (Intuit): stores our email list and sends our emails
Shopify: powers our cart and secure checkout
Printful: prints and ships apparel orders (receives your shipping details from Shopify)
Netlify: hosts this website
Google Fonts: delivers the fonts on this site (your browser requests the font files from Google)

Our live-circles app, Mom Unplug Moment, is a separate service with its own privacy practices.

Cookies & local storage

This site itself doesn't set tracking cookies. The Shopify shopping cart uses cookies/local storage so your cart remembers what's in it. Blocking cookies may keep the cart from working, but the rest of the site will be fine.

Your choices

Unsubscribe anytime: every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're out, no hard feelings.
See or delete your data: send us a message through our contact form and we'll handle your request for the data we control (like removing you from our email list).

Children's privacy

This site is made for moms, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top.
